Seven hundred and fifty thousand people were in front of the screen at the highlight and tickets sold for nearly 20 million dollars. Korean k-pop stars BTS have sent the web into a tailspin with "Bang Bang Con the Live", a 90-minute live stream broadcast on the web for a fee. After canceling the 37 concerts of the highly anticipated American tour, the boy band from Seoul organized the life with tickets sold for 35 dollars, 26 for the members of the fan club which for the occasion was full of new members: ten thousand.

In 2020 BTS won the Kids' Choice Awards as a best musical group, the latest recognition in chronological order of an exciting career that has established them as one of the global phenomena of today's music.

The Midas kings of K-pop

BTS, an acronym for Bangtan Sonyeondan, or Bangtan Boys, has been produced by the South Korean record label Big Hit Entertainment since 2013, the year of its debut.

The boy band consists of seven elements, RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Park Ji-min, V, and Jeon Jung-kook. They won the Top Social Artist Award at the Billboard Music Awards in the past three years and became the second group in music history, after the Beatles, to have three number-one albums on the Billboard 200 chart that same year.

Thanks to them the phenomenon of K-pop has exploded in the world which counts numerous blockbuster artists such as the Exo, the wild Blackpink, and the Shinee. Meanwhile, they announced the release of their new album in Japanese (2 years after the previous one).

The album, the seventh of their career and the fourth in Japanese will be titled "Map of the soul: 7 ~ The journey ~" and will be available digitally from July 14 and August 7 in all stores. The new album comes after the release last February of the Korean record "Map of the soul: 7" which reached the top of both the US Billboard 200 and the UK Official Albums Chart.

The album sold an astonishing 4.17 million copies. The title of the album tells the journey of these 7 years of BTS from their debut in June 2013 to today. The disc will feature two new songs in Japanese: "Stay Gold", the soundtrack of the Japanese TV series "Rasen no Meikyuu -Dna Kagaku Sousa" and the song "Your eyes tell", a song written together with Jung Kook.

A phenomenon of custom and market

BTS fans are a real army ready to support the group in any initiative. Their code name is Army which stands for Adorable Representative MC for Youth, "adorable spokespersons for youth". A simple recall is enough and they rush to monopolize social networks and condition the market. Mainly to them is due to the surge in the study of the Korean language in Italy and in the world, so much so that in October 2018 they received the Order of Cultural Merit awarded by the South Korean government.  Not only that, according to some market studies, the BTS has contributed to revitalizing the South Korean economy: all over the world records, books, and all kinds of articles related to the band and in general to the k-pop culture they have made are stolen.
